I had a great day today at the Buckstop Junction by Bismarck. The Missouri Valley Hysterical Society held a big Flea Market and Corn Feed, and I was the special featured detraction! There were other musical acts there today: a polka band, a ragtime piano player, and that guy Bauman (he follows me around everywhere) sang songs at the church service. I was the big draw, though — well, me and the corn — and I had a huge crowd for my rock star show at the Lewis Hotel ballroom. Standing room only!
Buckstop Junction is a great place to visit. The Hysterical Society moved a bunch of buildings in from other places to make their own pioneer village. Almost every building is over 100 years old; it’s just like most of the towns in the next county.
The wheat harvest is done, and we’re already planning for spring planting next year. I’m rehearsing my backup band too; we’re getting ready for the next recording session! It’s too early to set a date for when we go into the studio, but the wheels are in motion! Watch here for more news!
