We went to church Sunday morning, and spent the rest of the day visiting relatives. Probably a good thing, too, because that church service wore me out. Turns out they like to raise their hands in the air when they sing songs, and that's a lot more exercise than we usually get going to church -- unless it's one of those days when our neighbor Dinkelsturber puts all coins in the offering plate.
Visiting was nice. I didn't know I had so many cousins. Second cousins too, and even third! We had a potluck dinner at sister's house, and all the food was so good! We had cheese buttons, knoepfle soup, Braunschweiger, all sorts of great dishes -- and so much! My third cousins went back for seconds, my second cousin went back for thirds...it was very confusing.
Monday was a quiet day. We cleaned up from the big family dinner, I taught my sister how to crochet with steel wool (she wants to make new pots and pans), and we didn't go anywhere. Today we're going shopping. Mylo called from the farm to say he misses me, and to tell me to buy something. He says we need a new tv set. He wants me to find him one that shows Vikings games where they win.
